The Kobe IX Protro brings back the shoe that supported the Black Mamba during his triumphant return to the floor and gives it an upgrade. A Flyknit upper complements a springy, responsive Nike React foam in an extra high-top with an exaggerated collar that performs like Kobe's low-top masterpiece. Flyknit Upper The Kobe IX was the first Nike basketball shoe to infuse a full Flyknit upper. It creates a seamless engineered upper that helps keep the shoe lightweight.
